Marty Parks received his Bachelor of Music at the University of Tennessee and his Master of Music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a director of worship ministries for many years, and has created and arranged many works for Lillenas Publishing Company. He and his wife, Vicki, have four children, Brandt, Jarrod, Stanford, and Sarah Beth.
