| Cast: 2 male, 2 female | | Performance Time: 6 minutes | | Topics: Fairness, Rules, Ten Commandments, 10 Commandments | | Four grade school children are in the first recess of the first day of school. After a brief confrontation, the boys agree to allow the two girls to join in their game, warning the girls not to be disappointed when they lose. As the game progresses and the girls are winning, the boys keep changing the rules to slow the girls down and allow the boys to catch up. In the midst of the confusion, and regardless of the ever-changing rules, the girls win to the boys chagrin.
(Note from the authors: In our drama team, we often use adults playing children. This works very well, but one rule needs to be observed. Be sure your actors become children, not just "act" like children. This may sound like a paradox, but it is crucial to the success of the sketch.) | | Performance Royalty: Nonroyalty | | |
