Discussion: Family Camp for Outreach
2 | Family Camp | We performed 6 shows over 2 week-ends last mth. We squeezed up to 80 people into our basement for each show and fed them frying sausage, baked potatoes and baked beans, as we tried for "camp fare in the 40's". This was our 5th dinner theatre from Lillenas and most of the feed-back was that this was our best so far. This style of dinner theatre has been invaluable to our church for fund-raising, bonding amongst the congregation and community outreach. It gives us so much pleasure to bring so much fun into the lives of others. The inter-active theatres are such a great challenge, so much fun and their element of unpredictability brings a new show with each audience. I highly recommend this one, Love Liner and all the Uncle Phil's plays to you! You will not regret the effort! Cheers! Shelley

1 | Family Camp for Outreach | We recently purchased and performed "Family Camp"! Our sanctuary seating capacity maxes out at about 135. We decided to truly have camp and hold this event in our 40x60 tent out on our church property! We had 175 guests, we served Spaghetti, salad and French bread with cookies for dessert! With our cast and servers we had a total of 205 people! This was an amazing out reach! Grown men were laughing so hard they cried! We received ALL positive feedback! I would recommend this to ANY church aiming to reach your community! We had guest from up to 2 hours away!
To God be the Glory! Thank you!
