| Cast: 4 male | | Performance Time: 4 minutes | | Topics: Humor, Living the Christian Life As a Process, Not an Event | | The sketch opens with four aging jocks returning from a church league basketball game. Three are talking excitedly about a spectacular play Bob made during the game. They continuously replay and dissect 'the move', all the while high-fiving and slapping each other on the back. Only Mark does not join in the celebration. When the other three finally notice Mark's somber mood and ask him about it, it is revealed that they actually lost the game in spectacular fashion, largely because they spent so much time celebrating Bob's great move. The sketch seeks to remind the audience that the Christian life is an ongoing process and we should not get too caught up in one victory or defeat. | | Performance Royalty: Nonroyalty | | |
