You're in the right place! Lillenas has some great resources for beginners, as well as those who have more experience.
I stongly recommend attending their conference in the spring. There will some good classes in all areas of drama taught by some of the top Christian professionals. And the networking possibilities are endless.
As for scripts that will appeal to all ages but are easy to stage I recommend Torry Martin. He has some great characters that speak a powerful message through humor. There are many other authors who write easy to stage yet strong pieces.
I recommend reading some scripts in the downloadable section to find an author whose style fits your needs and start with him or her. Don't limit yourself to scripts that are marketed to youth. There are too many other good scripts out there that will speak to all ages.
As your experince level increases and your group grows, start adding to your script collection.
