Regional Broadcast Coordinator Brian Utter says, "We are creating local teams to utilize radio throughout our region. These teams all know that the World Mission Broadcast Offering is our lifeline; without this offering our ministries can't happen. So, not only are we promoting the offering in South America, but also praying for the offering worldwide during the month of June. Radio is just one of the many evangelistic tools we use on the South America Region. We are taking the hope of Jesus to them, not waiting for them to come to us."

Twelve of the JESUS Film and Discipleship coordinators on the region met May 1-3 at the Regional Office in Pilar, Argentina. Regional JESUS Film Coordinator Juan Jose Zani, and Discipleship Coordinator Tim McKeithen directed the meetings.

Among the more than 600 people who viewed the film, and the nearly 100 who accepted Christ, were alcoholics, drug dealers, gang members, and prostitutes. After viewing the film, those in attendance were given the opportunity to arrange a showing in their own homes.
