General NMI Director Nina Gunter said, "Nazarenes worldwide are challenged to pray a total of two hours for the General Assembly and Conventions during that six-month time period. Million Hours of Prayer has become an event to which the church looks forward. Prayer is something in which everyone can be involved—those who will attend the Assembly and Conventions and those who will be unable to attend."

Five Nazarenes from Australia were involved in this historic event and reportedly found people open to receiving the Gospel. Kasambalis states: "We spoke openly and preached the Word with power and freedom and no one stopped us." Through Operation Gideon and Hellenic Mission, a parachurch organization in Greece, team members preached in 10 major cities and distributed more than 60,000 New Testaments in Greek, English, Spanish, and German.

According to Alissa Monterroso, Field Services Coordinator for JESUS Film Harvest Partners, the JESUS Film will be a part of the Evangelism School. Students will go out on weekends to towns where there are no Nazarene churches and show the JESUS Film. There will also be classes on Evangelism each week as part of the curriculum.

Wohlheter, 22, was sentenced to six months in prison recently in a Coshocton County Common Pleas Court. He was charged with one count each of theft and breaking and entering, both fifth-degree felonies, in connection with burglarizing the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene on January 11.
