General Assembly resolutions web site now available

The 2009 General Assembly commissioned the Manual Editing Committee to work on any resolutions which were adopted and/or amended and adopted. These legislative language/updates will not be "official" until this committee's assignment is complete, which will be toward the end of 2009. Also, legislation affecting the Manual will not likely be effective until March 2010, when a new Manual is declared effective by the Board of General Superintendents, and is printed and released in English.
A resolutions web site - which provided restricted access to delegates prior to the 2009 General Assembly - is now accessible to all persons with no log-in required. This site also includes a complete calendar of resolutions which contains specific general assembly action information on each resolution. All the original resolutions (including the LATE ones) are posted on the resolution site in five languages (English, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish). To access the site, click here.

A 2009 General Assembly journal will be available for purchase in 2010 through Nazarene Publishing House. This journal will contain the specific language of each resolution, including amendments approved by the committee and/or the general assembly, as well as the specific vote records from the committees which handled each resolution. More information on the journal's availability will be released at a later date.
